THE PROBLEM:
The average temperature all around the Earth is climbing every year. We hit new record highs every year. The oceans temps are rising as well which means that much of the life in the ocean is threatened from the smallest living things - the plankton - right up to the largest living things - US! The forests all over the world are being destroyed by countries that need to make room for more of US - the largest and most destructive species in all history.
Between the forests going down and the planktonic life in the oceans dying, it means that we are breathing less and less oxygen and more and more CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) which is so thick in the atmosphere already that it's causing the "Greenhouse Effect", which means this gas is trapping heat in our atmosphere which is the cause of the rising temperatures.
The source of all this extra CO2? US! Humans put forth tons of CO2 every year just in our breathing, eating and transportation patterns.
SOME OF US are PRODUCING THOUSANDS OF TONS of CO2 every year by owning and flying around in private jets. Don't they care?
WELL - WE CARE and we believe that YOU CARE and we're betting that more and more of you care enough to JOIN HANDS and start demanding REAL CHANGE -
Our political leaders can't do it. They need money for their re-election, so they are beholding to the POWERS-AT-BE that have the BIGGEST CARBON FOOTPRINTS OF ALL - the Fossil Fuel Industry.
WE KNOW that we all must survive and we need to feed our families and that this is our TOP PRIORITY in life. Not to worry - we're not asking you to quit your job or grow your hair and sit around smoking pot all day long. We're just asking that you talk about making a few minor sacrifices with your family - FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE that they can have a family who will survive someday too. In the near future, we hope to be able to provide jobs that will completely change the entire global economy so that this kind of Earth Terrorism can never happen again. We call it the OFFSETS Economy - where everyone can do things that OFFSET their own carbon footprint and eventually even enough to OFFSET other - bigger Carbon Footprints - making their time on the Earth a NET POSITIVE Even.
